I'm almost done with day two of the challenge and things are going well! Today for lunch I had a grilled cheese sandwich with some pretzels and for dinner I had chicken alfredo pasta with a side of broccoli.
I tried to limit my portions to be sure I have enough to last the week, and I ended up getting a little hungry mid-afternoon. Luckily an apple with peanut butter was able to curb that hunger and get me through to dinner.
I think the hardest part for me so far is not having a Diet Coke when I wake up in the morning. Iâ??m not a huge coffee drinker, so Diet Coke is usually my daily dose of caffeine. Weâ??ll have to see how this first week goes without it, but at this point I think I might be using the extra money from this weekâ??s shopping trip on a case of Diet Coke.
Thanks to everyone who has submitted tips to me so far, I really do appreciate it! Iâ??m already planning ahead for next weekâ??s groceries so I would love to hear any more of your suggestions.
