Saturday night will wrap up the 109th annual Blakesburg Corn Carnival.
The festivities started on Thursday and have been running non-stop ever since.
Vendors of all kinds could be found at Blakesburg Elementary School selling everything from jewelry to spices.
We were lucky enough to run into Irene Herteen; this is her 70th year of attending the carnival. She also spent many years participating in the annual parade.
â??We decorated a car once and the man that was a mechanic, he said you'll never get through the carnival with that because we did have the front of the car covered and he was right. We had to be pushed through then for the rest of the time because our car heated up and we couldn't get through,â?? said Herteen.
The Todd Harter Memorial Car show took place on Saturday where several vintage cars were on display.
