A popular northeast Missouri group is now 13 years old.
The Northeast Missouri Chapter of Senior Circle and Northeast Regional Medical Center celebrated with members Wednesday. The group got together for a lunch and health fair at the Moose Lodge.
Booths highlighted different services the hospital offers, from woman's health to case management to radiology to exercise and health education.
The goal is to help seniors live healthy and happy lives.
"Keep them active and social. That's important that people don't just sit at home and watch the four walls. We want them to get out and keep active. Helps them with their lifestyle and out and going. That's what we want to do," said Senior Circle Advisor Laura Gruber.
You must be 50 years of age or older to join Senior Circle. Membership costs $15 a year for singles and $27 for couples.
