Mon, 24 Jun 2013 20:23:25 GMT — A Kirksville man has been charged with a felony after allegedly failing to return a laptop as promised. Michael Moffitt, 28, is charged with felony stealing. According to court papers, Moffitt had received the laptop to complete a program at Preferred Family Healthcare, under the agreement that he would return it after he finished the program. Moffitt is accused of pawning the laptop for $38 instead of returning it. Moffitt is being held in the Adair County jail under $25,000 cash only bond.
