The National Society of Collegiate Scholars held its winter clothing drive on the Truman State University campus Wednesday afternoon.

The group's Vice President, Kaâ??Ron Adams, says the drive is an opportunity for society members to engage in community service.

â??It's something that definitely makes NSCS look good. We definitely feel good providing the services to the community. We just look to gain a sense of accomplishment... you know, a warm feeling inside making others feel warm outside, I guess,â?? said Adams.

If you'd like to drop off winter clothing items, the event is open to the public Thursday and Friday from noon until 4 p.m. at McClain Hall on the Truman campus.

There will also be an opportunity for donors to receive a $25 Wal-Mart gift card. T

he clothing will be donated to an agency that provides clothing to those in need.
