A mobile app is created for the visually impaired to read books
The Adair County Public Library is getting the word out about a new audio book app for smart-phones. The new app is offered to visually impaired Missouri residents through the Wolfner Library in Jefferson City.
Wolfner Library card holders are able to access the app, but those interested must register for Wolfner services at the library or online before downloading the app.
â??To have access to Wolfner, you have to meet the qualifications and there's an application from Wolfner Library available either online or through the mail and your doctor has to qualify you for that saying that you do have vision or physical handicaps,â?? says Glenda Hunt of the Adair County Library.
For more information on the application, visit www.sos.mo.gov/wolfner or visit The Adair County Public Library for assistance registering with Wolfner.
