Absentee ballots are now available to Wapello County voters for the July 9 County Recorder special election.
County Auditor Kelly Spurgeon says that if voters want a ballot mailed, the written request needs to be at the auditor's office by 5 p.m on Friday, July 5 and be postmarked for return by midnight on July 8.
Voters can also cast an early ballot through July 8 at the Auditor??s Office on the second floor of the courthouse.
