'Almighty's Touch Massage' owner charged with sex abuse
CALLAO, Mo. —
The owner of a northeast Missouri massage business now faces a couple of sex-related charges after allegations made by one of his clients.
Calvin Vose, 56, of Callao is charged with Second-Degree Sexual Abuse and Second-Degree Sexual Misconduct, both misdemeanors.
According to his website, Vose runs "Almighty's Touch Massage" out of his home at 515 East Second Street in Callao.
Court documents state that the female victim had gone to Vose's business for a massage.
She told a Macon County sheriff's deputy that when she arrived, Vose instructed her to remove her clothing, lay on the massage table and cover herself with a towel.
The woman told investigators that when Vose came into the room, he removed the towel and proceeded to massage and touch her in a sexual manner after she signed a waiver that she did not want to have her breasts and stomach massaged.
According to court documents, the alleged incident happened on March 21, 2018.
She reported it to law enforcement the next day.
Vose was arrested later that day and taken to the Macon County Jail.
He has since posted bond and been released.
