American Gothic House hosts Easter Egg Roll this Saturday

Everyone who participates will receive a commemorative Gothic House Easter egg.

Every Easter, the White House hosts an Easter Egg Roll in Washington D.C. But this year, the event will be coming a little closer to home.

The American Gothic House Center and the Gothic Area Tourism of Eldon are hosting the first ever Easter Egg Roll at Our White House.

The event will be Saturday, March 30 at the Gothic House in Eldon. Kids are welcome to take place in the egg roll event, hear stories told by local celebrities, do Easter crafts and, of course, receive candy and prizes.

"One of the really neat things that they do each year at the White House egg roll is everyone receives a commemorative egg and we'll be doing that this year as well," said Holly Berg, Administrator of the American Gothic House Center. "GATE has brought these beautiful eggs in for everyone to take one home as a souvenir."

The event is free and open to kids of all ages and will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.
