Annual Chili Cook Off Benefiting Share the Harvest Program

The Second Annual Chili Cook-Off will be taking place this Saturday. Categories include wild game, regular and white chili. All proceeds go to Share the Harvest. In addition there is a darts contest, hot pepper eating contest, washer throwing contest and bean bag contest. â??The Chili Bowlâ?? Chili Cook Off, Benefiting Share the Harvest and Christian Community Food Depot

February 8th, 2014 from 11 am to 3 pm

Location: Ray Miller Elementary School

Categories are Regular Chili, Wild Game Chili and White Chili.

Registration: $25 per team (includes 2 mugs). .

Competition Participants should:

-Bring in 2.5 Gallons of Chili

-Provide small cups and spoons for sampling

-Bring crock pot, roasting pan, or chafing dish to keep chili warm

Judges will award honors for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention for each category.

First place winners from each category will be eligible for cash prizes. 1st place prize is Golden Chili Bowl and $75, 2nd place is Silver Chili Bowl and $50 and 3rd place is a Bronze Chili Bowl and $25 cash prize.
