Antique Fest kicks off in Kirksville

The Antique Fest and Flea Market opened its doors at the NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville Friday.

The event, which runs Friday and Saturday, brings vendors from across the Heartland who are selling antiques and collectibles.

Demo tents are also run throughout the festival.

"We're really excited because the community has really gotten behind us, and the community has really embraced it, and people love to have something to do especially in the fall," said event coordinator Lindsey West.

FRIDAY, September 29

2pm - 3pm The Lost Art of Upholstery - Simple Tips & Tricks

4-5pm Bowser's Emporium Paining Party - Paint a Pumpkin on a Pallet

SATURDAY, September 30

9:30-10:30am The Lost Art of Upholstery - Simple Tips & Tricks

11am - 12pm Bowser's Emporium Paining Party - Paint a Flag on a Pallet

2pm - 3pm Chalk Paint Basics with Originally Worn
