Arraignment date changed for Bloomfield man accused of abusing teen
A Bloomfield man accused of sexually abusing a teen and then stalking the victim has had his arraignment date changed.
Kenneth Wayne Turner, 55, was expected to be in a Wapello County court to be arraigned on charges of stalking in violation of a protective order and stalking a person under the age of 18. That court date has now been pushed back to Jan. 28.
Turner faces legal troubles in two counties. He was originally arrested in late September and charged in Davis County with numerous counts of sexually abusing a male minor.
Stalking charges in Wapello County stem from accusations that after he was released on bond on the sexual abuse charges, Turner repeatedly drove by the Agency youth shelter where the alleged victim had been placed after being removed from Turner's home.
Turner remains in custody on $100,000 cash only bond.
