Arrests in stolen vehicles case

Three people are arrested in connection with a rash of stolen vehicles in northern Missouri, many of which were later found burned. The three men remain in custody in the Schuyler County Jail.

Eugene Chuites, 21, of Bloomfield, Iowa is charged with stealing of property over $25,000, three counts of stealing a motor vehicle, and two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle. He is being held under $50,000 cash only bond.

Stanley Brown, Jr., 19, of Queen City, Missouri , is charged with stealing property over $25,000, three counts of stealing a motor vehicle and one count of tampering with a motor vehicle. He also has a $50,000 cash only bond.

Mitch Coady, 18, also of Queen City is charged with stealing property over $25,000, and three counts of tampering with a motor vehicle. He TMs being held under $25,000 dollars, cash only bond.

The stealing property over $25,000 charges are in connection with the theft of a semi that was set on fire.

Authorities tell KTVO, this remains an active investigation and more arrests are expected in connection with these thefts.
