Arrests made following southeast Iowa search warrant

Three southeast Iowans are facing multiple charges following a search of an Eldon, Iowa, residence.

The search warrant was executed on the afternoon of Dec. 15, 2017, at a residence on Wood Street and as a result, three people were arrested.

Ernest Weeks, 71, of Eldon, was charged with Possession, receipt, transportation, or dominion and control of firearms by a felon, a Class D felony.

Bond for Weeks was set at $5,000.

Timothy Gillespie, 56, of Eldon, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, FTA on Violation Restraining Order (3 counts), Carrying of Weapons (City of Eldon) and Discharge of Weapons (City of Eldon), all Simple Misdemeanors. He was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (2nd Offense), Theft 3rd, an aggravated misdemeanor and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Two or More Previous Convictions), a Class D felony.

Gillespie’s bond was set at $12,900.

Carissa Bower, 32, also of Eldon, was charged with Possession Methamphetamine and Possession Marijuana, both Serious Misdemeanors and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Bower’s bond was set at $2,000.
