Atlanta man charged with manufacturing a controlled substance

Mon, 19 May 2014 13:21:50 GMT — Late Saturday morning, Macon County Sheriffâ??s deputies responded to Atterberry Street in Atlanta, Mo., to investigate an alleged assault. During the investigation, the alleged victim in the assault presented allegations of marijuana plants being grown by Todd E. Becker, 46, inside their residence. Macon County Sheriffâ??s Deputies found 24 actively growing marijuana plants, two separate growing operations and drug paraphernalia located inside the residence.Deputies arrested Becker for manufacturing/producing a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.He is being held in the Macon County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
