A.T. Still Universityâ??s School of Health Management (ATSU-SHM) held its commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 21, marking the schoolâ??s 12th graduation since its establishment in 1999.
More than 70 students from a variety of health professions were represented and accepted their degrees by Don Altman, dean, ATSU-SHM, DDS, DHSc, MPH, MBA, MA, '12, and by ATSU President Craig M. Phelps, DO, â??84. Degrees in master of health administration, master of public health, and doctor of health education, all of which are distance-learning programs, were granted.
Margaret Wilson, DO, â??82, dean of ATSU-KCOM and professor in the Department of Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Community Health, served as this yearâ??s keynote speaker.
