      Authorities conduct massive drug bust

      The Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Kirksville Police Department, and the North Missouri Drug Task Force executed a massive drug bust at a residence on the 300 block of South Elson Street in Kirksville Friday evening.

      According to Sgt. C. W. Craig, a narcotics investigator for the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control, marijuana plants, several prescription pills,and a variety of drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence. Court documents indicate that authorities were led to the home after a number of people told them they purchased drugs from people living there.

      Arrested in relation to the drug bust include:

      Marvin W. Johnson, Jr. 41, of Kirksville, Mo. He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony. He is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $75,000 cash only bond.

      Ryan M. White, 19, of Kirksville, Mo. He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $75, 000 cash only bond.

      Tammy L. Shoup, 31, of Kirksville, Mo. She has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony. She is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $75,000 cash only bond.

      Woody H. Dunn, 24, of Kirksville, Mo. He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Adair County Jail on a $75,000 cash only bond.

      Marion A., aka Mark Aldridge, 21 of Kirksville, Mo. He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, a class B felony, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Adair County Jail on a $75, 000 cash only bond.

      Dakota Lee Downing, 21, of Baring, Mo. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony. He remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.

      Dazmine S. Wagnon, 19, of Kirksville, Mo. He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony. He remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25, 000 cash only bond.

      Elizabeth J. Collis, 25, of Kirksville, Mo. She has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony, and one count of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She remains in the Adair County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.

      The current residents of the home include Elizabeth J. Collis, Marvin W. Johnson, Jr., Tammy L. Shoup, Marion aka "Mark" Aldridge, and Woody H. Dunn. Authorities believe that all five use the home for distribution of controlled substances. According to court documents, the search warrant utilized in the drug bust included the persons and vehicles arriving at or present at the residence. When officers executed the search warrant, Collis, Dunn, and Aldridge were present.

      Court papers indicate that authorities found a large amount of drug paraphernalia including marijuana pipes, storage containers for marijuana, scales, and distribution baggies, along with prescription pills in one of the bedrooms, occupied by Collis, Johnson, and Shoup. The court papers also indicate that in another bedroom occupied by Dunn and Aldridge, authorities found marijuana, marijuana plants, and a scale.

      Tammy Shoup arrived while authorities were there. When asked, she allegedly told them that there was two pounds of marijuana in her trunk. Officers said they then located the two pounds of marijuana along with $730 in cash in her trunk along with 4 grams of high quality marijuana buds sorted into zip lock snack bags and a quarter pound of high quality marijuana in a separate grocery bag.

      Marvin W. Johnson, Jr. also returned home while the search warrant was being executed. According to court papers, in his possession, they found digital scales, and two ounces of marijuana.

      Authorities said they have been monitoring the house for awhile and had observed Ryan M. White visiting the home prior to the execution of the search warrant. He returned while authorities were there Friday and they allegedly found in his possession a marijuana pipe, baggies of marijuana, and on quarter ounce package of marijuana.

      While executing the search warrant and detaining suspects, authorities said more than 10 people approached the home; three of them were detained and searched. Two of them were arrested including Dakota Lee Downing and Dazmine S. Wagnon. Authorities allegedly found in their possession Concerta pills.
