The Kirksville Future Farmers of America Alumni Group held their annual barbecue fundraiser in the Tractor Supply parking lot Saturday afternoon.
Alumni members, FFA students, and advisors grilled up hamburgers and hot dogs to raise money to send Kirksville High School FFA students to the state and national conventions.
So what is their favorite part of the event?
"My favorite part is meeting new people and getting the funds to support the FFA," said FFA student Sidney Duvall.
"Standing out and waving at people and getting them to honk at you," said FFA student Cassie Peck.
"Looking at people's faces as they're driving by. It's just funny," said FFA student Haleigh Simler.
The BBQ had a good turnout.
The Kirksville FFA is also holding a fruit fundraiser through October 23.
