Bevier Homecoming celebrates 81 years

Set up is in full swing for the eighty-first annual Bevier Homecoming.

The event will be held at the Bevier city park starting on Wednesday, August 6th.

The crash of the coal mining industry drove Bevier residents out of the area and the homecoming festivities were an attempt at bringing people back home.

Carnival rides, concession stands and musical entertainment are a few of the events available to visitors.

Admission to the homecoming is free and includes the musical entertainment.

Carnival ride arm bands can be purchased at the registration stand.

Festivities will wrap up on Saturday, August 9th with the homecoming parade at 1pm and Keith Anderson will be on the stage in the evening from 7-9pm.
