Bloomfield residents charged with false imprisonment
Fairfield Police say the investigation into false imprisonment and assault charges is now closed.
On Tuesday, the department sent out a press release regarding multiple calls that a subject had been taken against their will.
Officers arrested 24-year-old John Morris, 18-year-old Donovan Wintermote, and a 17-year-old minor.
Wednesday, FPD said the incident appears to be a dispute over money and/or property.
It is believed the victim, an 18-year-old male, was not involved and was only a witness.
The department says there is no threat to citizens stemming from this incident and it was not a random act.
