A Bloomfield man, who was a fugitive from justice for several days early this fall, will be back in a Davis County courtroom next week.
According to online court records, Kenneth Wayne Turner, 55, is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Turner is facing several counts of sexual abuse after Bloomfield police say he molested a male juvenile who was living in Turner's home.
Turner was arrested on Sept. 30.
Turner was released on a small bond immediately after his arrest but disappeared for several days after being arrested a second time for stalking the victim.
Turner was eventually apprehended in Olmsted County, Minnesota, after an Iowa judge increased his bond to $100,000 cash only.
In recent days, Turner's attorney has made several motions, including asking for a change of venue and a reduction in his bond.Previous stories....Judge revokes Turner's bond Turner arrested for stalking alleged sex abuse victim Special prosecutor appointed in Bloomfield sex abuse case
