Get out your mandolin, banjo or fiddle because itâ??s time to get the band back together.
The 28th Annual Bluegrass Festival starts Wedneday, July 2nd, at Sally Mountain Park just west of Queen City, and runs through runs through Sunday, July 6th. Some performers include Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, The Harmans and Driven. If you want to learn to play bluegrass, music workshops will be provided. â??After 28 years, we have a lot of friends and family. This is the only place that we see them almost every year,â?? said festival organizer Brian Vincent. â??Itâ??s become a real tradition for a lot of folks. If you want to listen to music, if you want to learn how to play music, this is the place to come this weekend.â??
You can get a five day pass for $55, or just pay for the days you want to attend. Children 11 and under get in free. For more information about the festival and a complete list of acts, check out the festivalâ??s website at www.sallymountainshow.com.
