Bridge View Center houses final performance of Peter Pan

Opening act of Peter Pan at the BVC.

The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival had their final performance of Peter Pan at the Bridge View Center Sunday afternoon.

The family-friendly musical is an attraction of spectacle and fantasy, as the three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan who takes them to Never Land. Organizers say the productions were everything they expected and more.

??We are so thrilled with the young people in the show and the older in the show, and the flying with Peter Pan, our wonderful Captain Hook who's come back, Tyler Smith who grew up in Ottumwa is back," Miriam Kenning, AGPAF Board Member said. "He does a superb job. The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival has been a happy, successful and wonderful month.??Audience members got to enjoy watching the actors fly about the stage thanks to lots of practice these past couple weeks on harnesses. Tickets sold for $19.50 a piece.
