Campus police patrol Truman over the holiday
Thousands of Truman University students headed home to spend Thanksgiving with loved ones, but while gone, campus police are still patrolling and keeping the campus safe.
Students can be assured that while gone over the holiday break, campus police are keeping busy and patrolling campus 24-7. Campus police check over each building and are always on the watch for any suspicious activity that may arise.
"We want to be aware of things going on, on campus and look for any suspicious activity," said Chad Whittom, the Assistant Director of Department of Public Safety at the university.
Campus police encourage students still in the area to be on the watch-out and report anything that may seem out of the ordinary.
