A northeast Missouri man escaped serious injury after running his car off the road and through a wooded area.
The one-car accident happened at 8:50 p.m. Thursday on Highway 36, one mile west of Laclede, Missouri.

Clark suffered minor injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment.
