Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Bloomfield was treated to a uniquely presented sermon during Sunday morning's worship service.
Chalk Artist Randy Davis gave a presentation that contained a blend of visual bible teaching, inspirational music, and his trademark chalk drawing.
The drawing contained a hidden message further illustrating the presentation's theme.
Davis does not consider himself a pastor but rather a bible teacher.
"And this is just something that I found that I can use to communicate my own beliefs," said Davis. "And do it in a way that's interesting and appealing to all ages."
Davis came up with this concept of ministry while teaching a Sunday School Class in the mid 1980's.
He was trying to find a way to incorporate artwork into his teaching.
He didn't plan to do it as an occupation in the early days.
And now he's been calling it his job for the past 27 years.
Davis performs at churches around the country.
