A northeast Missouri man charged with multiple sex-related felonies has been given a change of venue in his case.Kenneth Shumate, 32, of Unionville, Mo., is facing 20 felony counts. He remains in the Davies-DeKalb Regional Jail under $1 million cash only bond.During a court appearance yesterday, the case was moved from Putnam County to Gentry County. The case is being handled by a special prosecutor, John Young from Mercer County.A motion by Shumate's defense attorney to disqualify the special prosecutor was overruled by the judge.Shumate also waived his arraignment yesterday in a Putnam County courtroom.
