The City of Kirksville and its city council members are facing a lawsuit.

Prior to a council meeting Monday night, official paperwork was served to council members.

According to court documents, Centrex Technical Sales, LLC. out of Town and Country, Missouri, says it's owed more than $190,000 in unpaid bills.

Those unpaid bills are reportedly tied to the multi-million-dollar expansion project at Kraft Heinz that began in 2016.
