      Clark County residents arrested on drug charges

      A Missouri State trooper made three drug related arrests Saturday.While attempting to serve an arrest warrant at the Eric M. Woods residence in rural Clark County, the trooper smelled the odor of chemicals commonly associated with a methamphetamine laboratory. The residence was secured and a search warrent was obtained. During the search, methamphetamine and materials used to manufacture meth were located.

      Arrested at the scene were, Eric M. Woods, 30, of rural Kahoka, Mo., Gary Keith Whitaker, 21, of rural Revere, Mo. and Hilary S. Vance, 25, of Wayland, Mo.Woods was arrested for felony possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; felony manufacturing a controlled substance -methamphetamine; felony possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine; felony possession of drug paraphernalia-methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia-marijuana. He is currently being held at the Clark County Jail on a $50,000 bond.Whitaker was arrested for felony manufacturing a controlled substance-methamphetamine; felony possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine; and felony possession of drug paraphernalia-methamphetamine. She was released pending issuance of a warrant.The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Clark County Sheriff's Office and the North Missouri Drug Task Force.
