Classes being offered to teach financial management
Looking for help on understanding finances more. Then this next story is for you.
The Missouri Small Business Technology Development Center and the Missouri Rural Enterprise and Innovation Center will be hosting "Understanding Financial Statements."
The class will be taking place this upcoming Thursday, August 21 from 3-6 p.m.
The class is a first in a three-part series of financial sense workshops geared towards individuals with limited knowledge of the subject matter.
This class, taught by local CPA Corey Eagen, is designed for business owners, managers, accountants, bankers, and consultants who need to know how to turn financial statements into useful management tools.
The other classes in this series are "Analyzing and Managing Your Cash Flow", which will be offered on Thursday September 4th and "Predicting Your Future Cash Needs", which will be offered on Thursday September 18th.
Classes will be held at the Economic Development Alliance at 315. S. Franklin St. in Kirksville.
Cost to participate in each workshop is $30, or you may register for the three-class series for $75.
