Hundreds of people are in Macon this weekend for one thing that they love...cars!
The Crossroads Cruisers Car Club held their 8th annual Car Show in the Macon County Expo Center Park Saturday.
Car lovers from all over brought their best rides, ranging from the classics of the 1920's to the hottest street rides of today.
"It's a social event, where we get to talk about the old times and see the work people put into these cars. If you like the old stuff, we decorated these cars to remind us of the past. It's just a lot of fun," said Crossroads Cruisers President Ron Winka. The car show was held in conjunction with the Demolition Derby.
All the money raised from the car show will be going toward scholarships for local area kids. There was also a food drive to help donate goods to the local food pantry.
