Heartland residents combined four wheelers, horseback riding, and poker to raise money for a loved one who died recently.
The poker ride event was a gathering of community members who knew Clinton Harris, a young man who died last month.
Two separate trails were set up, one for horseback riders and one for ATVS.
Each trail had five check points where participants were given a card that eventually would form their hand at the end of the ride.
Whoever had the best poker hand at the end of the ride was pronounced the winner.
Shayna Sapp, a friend of Harris who helped organize the event says she is happy with the turnout.
â??As you can see we have a lot of family and friends and supporters for him and were just trying to help the family out a little bit here. Clint loved to ride four wheelers, ATVâ??s, horses, anything bulls whatever he could get his hand on he rode it,â?? said Sapp
After the ride participants enjoyed a BBQ, an auction, and a gun raffle.
