Conceal and carry instructor charged with faking documents

A northeast Missouri man, who was an instructor for conceal and carry weapons classes, has been charged with falsely signing documents saying that a number of his students had passed the course.
Levi Hillard, 31, of Macon, is charged with three counts of felony forgery for signing the false documents.
He is also charged with three counts of being a training instructor providing false information regarding the performance of an applicant in a concealed weapon training program.
The charges are for incidents that allegedly happened in Audrain and Monroe County in Missouri.
Hillard is currently free on $60,000 bond.
He is scheduled for initial arraignment on May 28 in Audrain County Associate Circuit Court.
