Congressman Bruce Braley of Waterloo brought his campaign for U.S. Senate in 2014 to six Southeast Iowa communities on Monday.
We caught up with him at the Revelations Cafe in Fairfield where he hosted an informal "meet and greet." State representative Curt Hanson of Fairfield was also there endorsing Braley. The congressman also took his campaign to Sigourney, Washington, Wapello, Burlington and Mt. Pleasant Monday. Braley says since announcing his candidacy in February, he has united Iowans around his message of bipartisan problem-solving.
??People want predictability,?? (D)-U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley said. ??They want a five year farm bill. They want a solution to our immigration problems. They want us to do something about creating a stable economy so they can plan for their businesses. I have proven experience working in all those areas, solving tough problems and that's what I would do as Iowa's next senator.??
At this time, there's no democratic opposition in his run for U.S. Senate. Braley wants to fill Tom Harkin's vacant senate seat.
