Are you looking for something new for your kids to do this summer? How about exploring nature?
The Missouri Department of Conservation will be holding its annual Conservation Day Camp once again this year.
The camp is for two groups: third through fifth graders and sixth through eighth graders.
Last year, the kids learned about outdoor survival skills.
This year's theme is "Adapt or Die." Kids will learn what plants and animals need to survive in their habitats.
"They're going to cover a wide range of things from seed dispersal for plants to camouflage for animals, mimicry, just a huge range of fascinating adaptations," said Amanda Moore of the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Moore says the kids always have a great time at the camp.
This year's camp starts the second week of June.
Sign-ups are going on now until June 2.
