Creative Writing classes to be held in Kirksville

If you want to learn what it takes to be a 'creative writer,' some new classes may be just what you're looking for.

The classes will be offered in the basement of the Economic Development Alliance Building in Kirksville. They will be held Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7 to 8. The cost to participate is $10 per person. The classes are open to anyone of any age, and any writing ability.

"Whether you write daily, whether you've written like a poem by accident, or you just want to know, kind of get into it. I'm actually finishing my undergraduate writing program at Truman, and I wanted to sort of expand upon that, and give something back to Kirksville," said Ryan Clark, the Creative Writing Class Instructor.

Just a reminder, the Creative Writing Classes will be held Tuesday and Wednesday nights beginning at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Economic Development Alliance Building in Kirksville. To register for the classes, please contact (660) 627-1485.
