Customers flow in as Hobby Lobby has first open day
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
The much anticipated opening date of Hobby Lobby was Friday.
The grand opening isn't until Monday, but a soft opening means the doors are open for business now.
Store Manager Paul Roberts told KTVO that three weeks ago, the newly constructed store was empty.
But now, shelves are stocked, and ready for customers.
Roberts says the store got progressively busier as the day went on.
“It's going well, at first people didn't know we were here and so we put some signs out front and everybody started pulling in, so it's great," Roberts said.
Monday will also be a ribbon cutting hosted by the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce.
