A group of Davis County High School students brought history to life Thursday afternoon.

Seven students dressed up as various historical figures as a different way to teach the second graders.

Junior Rylie Johnson portrayed Laura Ingalls Wilder. She says this activity is a good way to show the kids what life was like back then.

“We want them to be curious. You know, what happened in our past kind of, not determines, but kind of directs our future. So, we want them to know about what happened and how they came to be, and how life around here used to be,” said Johnson.

The group also did this presentation for the third graders last week.
