If you've ever wanted to fly to Never-Neverland, you won't have to go very far.
The Davis County Players are putting on "Peter Pan" Thursday, November 14 through Sunday, November 17 at the Iowa Theater in Bloomfield. The cast and crew have been rehearsing since just after Labor Day and they say although the story is usually perceived as geared towards children, the production features some of the company's most veteran actors and will be fun for an audience of all ages.
The cast told KTVO why you should come out to see them this weekend.
"We worked really hard and we try to do our very best," said Leah Rudd, cast as a "Lost Boy".
"Well, if nobody shows up then that will just make us sad because we did all that hard work for nothing," said Lost Boy Avery Byrd.
"It's the best play in the universe and it's a great remix of Peter Pan," said Lost Boy Megan Swan.
"The cast is just amazing, we all have a ton of fun and it's just enjoyable and hilarious," added Emmy Mole, cast as Peter Pan.
The show is at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and a matinee Sunday at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $13 for kids 13 and under and $15 for those 14 and up. You can buy tickets at the Iowa Theater on the day of the show or in advance at Perfect Touch on the Bloomfield square.
