Kirksville residents had the chance to get crafty Wednesday night just in time for the holidays.
All ages were welcome to attend a nature craft night held at the Missouri Department of Conservation office.
Those who attended were able to make ornaments, bird feeders and other Christmas decorations out of a number of different items found in nature. The items used for the crafting included pinecones, sweet gumballs and milk-weed pods.
"We are hosting our 7th annual nature craft night and we have it the beginning of December so that people are able to either give these as gifts or put them on their Christmas tree," said Karen Armstrong, an Education Consultant at the Missouri Department of Conservation.
A local Boy Scout troop was also on hand to help with the crafting process.
