Dogs get a chance to splash around in upcoming Doggie Luau

Wed, 20 Aug 2014 14:36:49 GMT — The City of Kirksville along with the Adair County Humane Society and Pawsitive Animalworks are holding their 9th annual Doggie Luau this Saturday, August 23rd. Missy Decker from the Adair County Humane Society, stopped by the set of Good Morning Heartland to tell us more about event and other ways you can donate to the shelter. WATCH VIDEO ABOVE to learn more. For only $5, dog owners and their four-legged friends are allowed to swim and cool off at the Brasher Park Wading Pool to have some end-of-the-summer fun. All the money raised will go towards the needs for the Adair County Humane Society. The event is this Saturday, August 23rd from 12pm to 2pm at Brashear Park in Kirksville. CLICK HERE to learn more.
