Downtown Kirksville turns into 'Chicago' Friday night

If you are looking for something fun for you and the family to do Friday night in Kirksville, head on down to the Kirksville square. Friday night from 7:00 to 8:30 the Kirksville square will be packed with people coming to see the Maples Repertory Theatre, which is performing for Kirksville Summer on the Square.

The theatre will be giving a sneak preview to its Chicago play. â??Itâ??s a big show and it's a show our audience has wanted to see,â?? said Artistic Director Todd Davison. â??It's one of those kinds of classics. Itâ??s got a style all of its own and it throws back to old vaudeville style. So, each number is kind of a different performing style and that's also fun.â??

They will have about 19 actors and singers from all across the United States here for the summer season. The rain location for Friday nightâ??s event is Wrong Daddy's.

The show opening for Chicago is June 19. For more information click HERE.
