      Drug raid Wednesday night ends with two in custody

      UPDATE: Two suspects are in custody following a drug raid in Macon.

      Police received an anonymous tip concerning a residence in the 500 block of Pine Crest Drive.

      That's not far from the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop B headquarters.

      According to police, 15 officers from the Macon Police Department, Macon County Sheriff's Office and North Missouri Drug Task Force conducted Wednesday evening's raid.

      Police say four adults and three children were in the home at the time.

      Inside, officers found cash and a large amount of marijuana packaged in individual baggies and prepared for distribution.

      Gary Hollins, 35, of Macon faces a number of drug-related charges, including possession of marijuana.

      A second person at the scene, Benjamin Jackson, 24, of Macon, was also arrested.

      Court documents state that Jackson was found to be in possession of a controlled substance so the judge revoked his bond.

      Jackson had been free on his own recognizance after being charged with receiving stolen property.

      He's now being held on $9,000 cash only bond.

      Two people are in custody following a drug raid in Macon Wednesday evening.

      Macon Police say the bust occurred just after 6:30 p.m. at a residence in the 500 block of Pine Crest Drive. Over a dozen officers from the Macon Police Department and the North Missouri Drug Task Force recovered a large amount of marijuana inside the residence. The marijuana was packaged and ready for distribution. Officers also recovered cash at the residence.
