Eleven arrested in meth bust

Meth activity was over a two year period

Ten out of eleven people indicted have been arrested on federal methamphetamine conspiracy charges for alleged activities that occurred between 2009 and 2012 in Lewis County.

Charged are:

Felicia Lea Shults, 34, LaGrange, MO;

Kevin Lee Shults, 56, Ewing, MO;

Kitty Kay Shults, 58, Ewing, MO;

Billie J. Bryan, 40, Palmyra, MO;

Sean Michael Bryan, 34, Palmyra, MO;

Robert E. Cookson, 40, IL;

Stacy Francis Derecskey, 25, Canton, MO;

Timothy Howard Vonholt, 51, Quincy, IL;

Robert Leroy McKim, Jr. 35, LaGrange, MO;

Christopher C. Robbins, 34, LaBelle, MO;

Erick Dennis Winship, 31, LaGrange, MO.

These defendants were indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges including conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine, and distribution of methamphetamine.

They were arrested by law enforcement officers from the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and the Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force; and appeared in federal court Tuesday afternoon.

If convicted, each of the drug charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and/or fines up to $250,000.
