Employers want Heartland residents for work
Preparations are underway for the NEMO job fair that will take place on April 23 at the NEMO fairgrounds in Kirksville.
Forty-seven different employers will be at NEMO fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jobs in retail, manufacturing, health care, communications, education, government, and many more will be available to learn about, so any job seeker is encouraged to come out. Even if donâ??t know what type of industry you want to work in, itâ??s OK. They have a computer app that helps you find what jobs are right for you!
â??We will have Tallify here. This is the second time for Tallify, it's a personality assessment that benefits both employers and job seekers. It give the employers an idea of if the individual will fit in with their company. It gives the job seeker maybe an idea on how to critique themselves and any strengths or weaknesses they might have,â?? said Cathy Collop, Development Supervisor for the Missouri Career Center.
