Fairfield stabbing leads to three arrests
Update: April 29-
Dawn Dunn, Dustin Roll and Brett Hedblade are all facing felony charges of robbery and willful injury.
The three were arrested on Saturday after police accused them of attempting to rob another man at an apartment on Grimes Street.
All three suspects have now made an initial appearance before a judge.
Bond has been set for all three at $25,000 cash only.
All of the suspects have been granted a state appointed attorney.
They will next appear in court on May 7 for a preliminary hearing.
Fairfield Police have made an arrest in a weekend stabbing.
According to a press release from the department, three individuals are in custody after a Saturday robbery attempt went bad.
Dustin Roll, Dawn Dunn and Brett Hedblade are charged with felony counts of Willful Injury and Robbery in the First Degree.
According to police, the three pulled the victim into an apartment on West Grimes in Fairfield.
The victim was then assaulted, stabbed and robbed.
He was transported to Jefferson County Hospital were he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
As of Monday morning, the charges against the three suspects hadn't been posted to Iowa Courts Online.

On 4-26-14 at 6:50PM Jefferson County Dispatch received a report of a male individual that
had been stabbed. Upon investigation police confirmed a robbery occurred at 901 W. Grimes. Suspects Dustin Roll, Dawn Dunn, and Brett Hedblade pulled the victim Darren Goodwin into an apartment at the residence. There the victim was assaulted, stabbed, and robbed. The victim was transported to Jefferson County Health Center Emergency Room for non-life threatening injuries. All three suspects were charged with Wilful Injury a Class D Felony and Robbery in the 1
st Degree a Class B Felony. Dawn Dunn was also charged with Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree a Simple Misdemeanor.
