Family feud leads to destroyed ignition

      Angela Johnson, 28, of Kirksville

A northeast Missouri woman is accused of damaging a car owned by a relative.

The Adair County Prosecutor's Office told KTVO Angela Johnson, 28, of Kirksville, is charged with one count of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

According to court documents, police state that Johnson had gotten into an argument with a family member on Thursday evening.

Investigators allege Johnson used a hammer, screwdrivers and a file to tear up the ignition of her family member's car, and then took off in another vehicle owned by that same relative.

A short time later, a Kirksville police officer spotted the Jeep Johnson was driving, pulled it over and arrested her.
