A Fairfield, Iowa, mother is continuing the search for her son who went missing four years ago.

Freddy Workman was living in a youth facility in Des Moines. He walked out of the facility on August 2, 2013 and hasn't been seen since.

On Friday, his mother, Anna Shields, along with other family members, released 19 blue balloons along the Market Street Bridge in Ottumwa.

That number represents how old Freddy would be today.

Attached to the balloons are flyers with information about Workman.

"We just want him to be brought home, so we can have peace. So we're not so stressed out," Shields said.

Each passing day makes finding Freddy more problematic.

In 2014, just a year after Freddy disappeared, Shields told KTVO in an interview that the number of leads was already drying up.

If anyone does have information regarding the location of Freddy Workman, Shields hopes they will call her at 641-451-6088.
