      Fire up your computers to help the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center

      The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center has made it to the second round of the Make My Non-Profit Run Better competition.

      The Convention Center is one of 25 non-profit organizations selected for the second round of voting.

      Voting begins November 1st at 8 a.m. and supporters may vote one time per day.

      Heartland residents have been firing up their computers to help the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center better serve the community.

      The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center is in the running for a $15,000 technology makeover grant through the ??Make my Non-Profit Run Better?? competition.

      Non-profit organizations from across the tri-state area are competing for the technology grant.

      The winner will receive new computers, printers, and plenty of other hardware and software to run a more efficient operation.

      Cody Jones, Development and Public Relations Manager for the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, said he's been thrilled with the support from the community.

      The first round of voting ended Wednesday at 5pm. The top finalists will be named and voting will re-open on November 1st at 8 a.m.
