Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville has a new Chief Executive Officer.
Thursday was Ranee Brayton's first day as CEO, but it wasn't her first day on the job at the Kirksville hospital.
Before her promotion, Brayton served a Chief Operating Officer.
The Memphis, Missouri native says she's built her professional reputation focusing on certain things, and one of them is her passion for what she does.
Brayton says she's very grateful and appreciative of the support she's had from the hospital's board of trustees and the medical staff.
She told us she's looking forward to taking the hospital from good to great.
â??We have a fabulous future ahead of us and we have many initiatives in place right now. We are in the midst of developing our Interventional Cardiology Program, to provide 24-7 interventions. We are launching our Robotic Surgery Program that will bring the latest technology to patients in our hospital and we are about to break ground on a $7 million expansion for our Surgical Services Department,â?? said Brayton.
Brayton says what she's looking forward to most is truly making a difference for the community of Kirksville.
